The two common unknown jurisdictions that I normally find that clients are unfamiliar with are: The Department of the Environment (lakefront or near lake developments) and The Department of Highways (near many our of roads). Ignorance of the requirements is not an excuse! A lot of time, money & effort can be saved with proper planning and understanding. Even then, there can be the occasional monkey wrench!
