about no touchy:
The No Touchy Campaign is a volunteer group
with a primary focus to support victims of sexual assault, sexual violence, and rape. Other activities include creating awareness, educating the public, raising funds, and petitioning governments!
- 1 in 3 women & 1 in 6 men will experience sexual abuse in their lifetime.
- there are 460,000 sexual assaults in Canada annually.
- 85% of victims know their attacker.
- only 2-4% of reported assaults are false claims.
- only 33 of every 1000 sexual assaults are reported to police with only 3 of those leading to a conviction!
